ABOUT RENI
My Story
I’m Renáta Katona, a Hungarian-Dutch event photographer working across Europe, specialising in multi-day conferences, trade shows and corporate events.
I’ve been working professionally for over 12 years, including more than 8 years as a co-owner of a photo and video production company in Amsterdam.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to capture events across Europe, including cities like Dublin, London, Paris, Monte Carlo, Prague, as well as multiple locations in the Netherlands, Hungary and Germany.
During this time, I learned how important clear communication, reliability and consistency are for my clients, and I worked with the same teams year after year, supporting events as they moved across cities and countries.
This experience shaped not only how I work, but also what I wanted to focus on moving forward.
So in 2026, I took the leap of faith and launched my own brand, RENI, to fully focus on what I enjoy the most: working in fast-paced event environments and building long-lasting connections with my clients.
Why RENI?
I work with a calm, professional presence, blending into the event while staying fully focused on capturing the people, moments and interactions that shape it.
Beyond strong visuals, I focus on quick delivery, often while the event is still unfolding. From social-ready live highlights to full galleries, my workflow is built to fit naturally into how my clients work during and after their event.
If you’re looking for a photographer who works quietly, thinks along with you and understands the rhythm of conferences and trade shows, I’d be happy to connect.
Everything you need to know before choosing an event photographer
-
I specialise exclusively in event photography, with a particular focus on international conferences, trade shows, corporate events and other professional gatherings.
I have more than 12 years of international experience in this field and work at events of different sizes across Europe. Event photography is not simply one of many photography services I offer - it is my speciality and the area of photography I am genuinely passionate about.
I do not photograph weddings, families, newborns, food or other unrelated genres. My focus is entirely on professional events and the people, interactions and moments that make them unique.
-
Absolutely. Having spent a significant part of my career working internationally, I am completely at home in English-speaking and multicultural event environments.
I regularly photograph international conferences, trade shows and corporate events, both in The Netherlands and Hungary, as well as across Europe, including multi-day assignments.
-
Every event is different, so pricing depends on the duration, location, schedule and required level of coverage.
My pricing is generally based on the number of hours of on-site photography, while image selection and professional post-production are always included in the fee.
For larger or multi-day conferences and events, I can provide a tailored project quote based on the complete schedule and coverage requirements.
If you send me the date, location and preliminary programme of your event, I’ll be happy to provide an accurate, no-obligation quote.
-
The photography fee covers not only the time spent photographing your event, but also the selection and professional editing of all delivered images, including adjustments to brightness, contrast, colour accuracy and cropping.
Fast turnaround highlight delivery during or shortly after the event is also included where required and where the event schedule allows.
-
There is no fixed limit on the number of images delivered. All good photographs are professionally edited and included in the final gallery.
Under normal circumstances, you can expect approximately 30 edited images per shooting hour on average, although the final number naturally depends on the type, schedule and dynamics of the event.
-
Yes. For immediate communications, press and social media use, I provide a selection of up to 30 professionally edited highlight images on the day of the event, typically by the end of the day. If the event finishes late in the evening, the highlight selection will be delivered by the following morning.
For multi-day conferences and events, you will receive a fresh highlight selection every day.
-
Yes. For pre-agreed priority sessions, keynote speakers or other important moments, a small selection of professionally edited images can be delivered shortly after the session, allowing your marketing or communications team to publish content while the event is still taking place.
There is no additional charge for this service, provided it is planned in advance and the event schedule allows sufficient time between sessions for image selection, editing and delivery.
-
I always aim to deliver the complete gallery as soon as possible after the event, with a guaranteed turnaround time of no more than one week.
-
All professionally edited images are delivered through a private online gallery, making it easy for your team to view, download and share the complete event photography.
-
Yes. An optional AI-powered image search can be enabled within the online gallery.
Attendees can use a simple selfie to instantly find the event photos they appear in. Marketing and communications teams can also search by individual faces, making it easy to find all images featuring a particular speaker, guest or attendee which is especially useful for larger galleries containing hundreds or thousands of photographs.
-
Yes. Larger conferences often have multiple keynote sessions, breakout sessions or other programme elements running simultaneously.
When the required coverage cannot be achieved by one photographer, I can arrange additional professional event photographers to ensure that all important parts of the programme are covered.
The required photography team can be planned in advance based on your event schedule and coverage priorities.
-
Generally, no. Professional image selection and editing are an integral part of my service, which means that the final professionally edited photographs are delivered rather than unprocessed RAW files.
As there is no fixed limit on the number of delivered photographs, all good images are included in the final gallery.
-
Upon completion of payment, you will receive perpetual usage rights to all delivered images. The photographs may be used without any additional licensing fees for your organisation’s own marketing and communications, including websites, social media, press, publications, promotional materials and the promotion of future editions of the event.
Images may also be shared with event participants, speakers, sponsors, partners and press in connection with the event and its promotion.
Copyright remains with the photographer. The images may not be resold or licensed as standalone commercial assets to third parties without prior written permission.
-
I am available for conferences, trade shows and corporate events throughout Europe.
My home bases are in Amsterdam and in Budapest but I regularly work internationally and can travel to major European cities for single-day as well as multi-day assignments.
Travel and, where necessary, accommodation costs are always discussed in advance and clearly included in the quotation.
-
Although I have more than 10 years of experience in videography, with the RENI brand I specialise primarily in event photography.
If you also require video coverage, I work with trusted videography partners, allowing us to provide both professional photography and video coverage for your event.
-
No. Both photography and videography require full attention to deliver the quality I aim to provide, which is why I don’t take on assignments where I am expected to handle both simultaneously.
Keeping my full focus on photography also allows me to follow the event closely, capture important moments and, when required, deliver edited images while the event is still taking place.
If you are looking for one person to handle both photography and video simultaneously, I may not be the right fit. However, if you are looking for professional photography and videography as part of the same event coverage, I’ll be happy to provide both together with my videography partners.
-
To prepare an accurate quote, I primarily need the date, location, expected duration and, if available, the programme or preliminary schedule of your event.
For larger conferences, it is also helpful to know whether there will be simultaneous sessions, which speakers or programme elements are particularly important, whether rapid image delivery during the event is required, and whether there are any other specific photography requirements.
If the final programme is not yet available, that is absolutely fine, we can start planning based on a preliminary schedule and refine the coverage as the event approaches.
